Versatile youngster Jordan seemed to grow in stature as the campaign progressed, featuring in all but four of the club’s Premier Academy League fixtures whilst also breaking into the Reserve side during the latter stages of the season.

Although preferring to play in central midfield, Jordan was more prominently deployed at right-back last season, and, after turning in several consistent performances, he was rewarded by being handed the captaincy for the final game of the season away to MK Dons.

Technically-talented and efficient at breaking up play, Jordan came on as a substitute for the Reserves away to Wigan and Manchester United and was also part of the Dallas Cup squad.

This season he should receive more opportunities in midfield and will be hoping that his consistency is rewarded with a professional contract.
