An athletic right-back who has been capped by England at U16 level, for whom he played a part in the Victory Shield success, Tafariís achievements on the domestic front last season were just as impressive.

After making his debut for the U18s as a substitute away to Norwich City, the youngster became a regular presence in the squad at that level, starting seven games in the New Year having already secured his scholarship deal with the guarantee of a one-year professional contract to follow.

The youngster also filled in at left-back during an injury crisis and, although there are still aspects of his game that require improvement, such as his decision-making under pressure, he should go on to establish himself as the regular right-back for the U18s this campaign and will also be hopeful of featuring in the older age-groups as the season progresses.
